Psychiatry
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have been trained to assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent a wide variety of mental illnesses such as mood disorders, behavioral issues, cognitive changes, and dealing with problematic thought processes that one may have developed over their lifetime.
The most common issues I treat are anxiety, depression, bipolar/mood disorders, OCD, attachment style issues, general poor stress management issues, and difficult life transitions.
At this time I only treat adults 18+.
If necessary, I can prescribe and manage medication under the supervision of a physician.

Psychotherapy & Education
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have been trained in psychotherapeutic and psychoeducational methods. I do not prefer one approach but rather a blend of different approaches that I tailor to each patient's needs. Some types of therapy I typically engage in are...
Supportive Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT)
Attachment Based Therapy
Interpersonal & Person-Centered
Solution Focused Therapy

I love educating my patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, cause and effects of psychological issues, and ultimately helping them feel empowered to take control of their health!

Wellness
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have been trained in symptom assessment, lab ordering and interpretation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a variety of health conditions. Through these steps, I can identify nutritional deficiencies and other medical conditions, such as hormone imbalances and prediabetes, that may be contributing to mental and emotional distress.
I am very passionate about this and have plans to become certified in hormone replacement therapy and be able to confidently implement functional medicine approaches into my practice by December 2025.
