A holistic approach
for a healthier, happier YOU!

Emotional struggles can affect anyone—regardless of background, success, intelligence, or upbringing. If you’ve been navigating depression, anxiety, mood instability, relationship stress, burnout, perfectionism, or simply not feeling like yourself, please know this: you are not alone—and you are in the right place.

At Bloom, we recognize that emotional wellness is deeply connected to physical health. Too often, underlying medical conditions that contribute to mental health symptoms are overlooked. That's why our approach is different—rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to whole-person care.

What We Offer

Tailored  Psychiatric Care

All providers at Bloom are board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners licensed in Texas and offer:

  • Psychiatric assessments

  • Medication management

  • Supportive psychotherapy

  • Psychoeducation

  • Interpretation of diagnostic labs and testing

  • Personalized treatment planning

All services are offered via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and in-person by request in Austin, Texas. Our care philosophy is deeply holistic, meaning we consider how your body systems, lifestyle, relationships, and habits all play a role in your mental health.

Whether we’re working on stabilizing your mood, breaking unhelpful cycles, setting boundaries, or exploring root causes of distress—our goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward becoming your highest-functioning, healthiest self.

Psychotherapy & Education

As psychiatric nurse practitioners, we have been trained in psychotherapeutic and psychoeducational methods.  We offer a blend of different approaches that are tailored to each patient's individual needs in that moment. Some types of therapy we typically engage in are...

Supportive Psychotherapy

 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Attachment Based Therapy

Interpersonal & Person-Centered

Solution Focused Therapy

Trauma Informed Therapy

Here at Bloom, we love educating patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, causes and effects of psychological issues, and ultimately helping them feel empowered to take control of their health!

It’s important to note that psychiatric nurse practitioners are not trained therapists and do not offer psychotherapy to the same extent as licensed professional counselors (LPCs), clinical social workers (LCSWs), or psychologists.
We strongly believe in the power of comprehensive care, and many patients find the greatest benefit when working with both a psychiatric provider and a dedicated therapist. We’re always happy to collaborate with your therapist to ensure your care is well-coordinated and aligned with your goals.

Psychiatry

As psychiatric nurse practitioners, we have been trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of mental illnesses such as mood disorders, behavioral issues, cognitive changes, and problematic thought processes that one may have developed over their lifetime.

The most common issues treated are anxiety, depression, bipolar/mood disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, OCD, attachment style issues, stress management issues, and difficult life transitions.

Our providers see adults and teens!  If necessary, we can prescribe and manage medication under the supervision of a physician.

Wellness

As psychiatric nurse practitioners, we have been trained in symptom assessment, lab ordering and interpretation, diagnosis,  treatment, and prevention of a variety of health conditions. Through these steps, we can identify nutritional deficiencies and other medical conditions, such as hormone imbalances and diabetes, that may be contributing to mental and emotional distress.

We are passionate about this and enjoy implementing functional medicine approaches into our treatment plans when possible.

Amanda Sisul,
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

My name is Amanda Sisul, and I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong passion for whole-person wellness—mind, body, and spirit. I began my nursing career in 2010, working as an ICU and travel nurse for eight years before earning my master’s degree and transitioning into psychiatry in 2018.

Throughout my nursing journey, I’ve witnessed firsthand how deeply connected our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being truly are. I’ve always found that people naturally open up to me, whether at the bedside or in everyday life, and I consider it a privilege to hold space for others with presence, empathy, and care. That gift—along with a deep interest in mental health—ultimately led me to this work.

I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care with an emphasis on collaboration, education, and empowerment. I see patients navigating a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, attachment wounds, grief, and major life transitions. I’m also passionate about empowering individuals to confidently advocate for themselves and establish healthy boundaries in all areas of life.  At Bloom, I intentionally keep my caseload small to ensure a high quality of care, and I also manage the business and administrative side of the practice, including billing, insurance, and communication.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, working out, reading, volunteering as a NICU baby cuddler, and spending time outdoors with our two dogs, Marly and Lily. I’m married to my best friend, Beau, and we love traveling and spending time on Lake Travis. We’re also thrilled to be expecting our first baby in August 2025 after a long journey with infertility—something that has deepened my sense of gratitude and connection to the healing work I do. I’m a person of faith, and my Christian beliefs are an important part of who I am and how I show up for others—with compassion, integrity, and hope.

My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care in a space where you feel safe, supported, and seen on your journey toward healing and wholeness.

Eric Aguilar,
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

My name is Eric Aguilar, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, I’ve worked as a nurse since 2012 and earned my Master of Science in Nursing in 2022. Since becoming board certified as a PMHNP, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions.

My journey into mental health care is deeply personal. After losing loved ones to the effects of mental illness, I felt called to be a source of support, healing, and advocacy for others. That experience continues to shape my practice, fueling my commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel genuinely heard and empowered.

I take a holistic, person-centered approach to care, offering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I also believe strongly in the mind-body connection and often incorporate conversations around movement, nutrition, and lifestyle. As an advocate for the therapeutic power of exercise, I believe that sustainable routines can have a meaningful impact on mental wellness.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our poodle-terrier mix, Opie. Whether it’s walking, hiking, or simply relaxing together, I value balance, connection, and authenticity, and I bring those same values into my work with every individual.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and guided toward lasting emotional well-being.
